Full gantry crane systems are the most popular configuration. it can consists of a single or double girder supported by freestanding legs that ride along a track or rail system. They typically do not incorporate the overhead runway system, run in a straight line and operate in a dedicated work area. This crane type is perfect for outdoor use or if you do not want a permanent crane system installed in your facility.
Portable Gantry Cranes
Portable gantry cranes are smaller lighter-duty gantry systems that run on casters or rubber wheels. These wheels allow the user to move it throughout a facility to handle various materials or loads. When they’re empty and not under load, they can be moved or stored anywhere throughout a shop or into different work cells to offer greater space-saving and floor space flexibility.
Monorail Cranes
A monorail crane is a type of crane that acts as a substitute for conventional cranes or conveyor belts. A monorail crane is ideal for production processes that require lifting products in a fixed path. They can consist of a single or multiple trolley/hoists and they are attached to a single beam.
